Great tour. Small group. Lots of time to explore and ask questions. Tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Our group guide Federica was an excellent guide on this tour. She was warm, charming, friendly and approachable. Federica gave lots of extra information as the bus took us to and from the Catacombs. just the right pitch of information. Highly recommended. I thought the Capuchin visit was a bus tour away as well, but it was a minimal walk near Barberini square, to the venue where we had site audio guides.
then a walk up a hill to where the bus could stop. Then after this not much walking is needed . At the catacombs, a site guide then took us through the catacombs. The German guide there was very good and informative, and very calming in this quite claustrophobic atmosphere. I would recommend this if you have time. Again a large group tour.

Our guide on 10/23 for the 2:30pm was a wonderful guide but this tour lacked a little. I love catacombs and visiting crypts but this slacked the enthusiasm. The crypt was cool to visit but we were rushed going through the walk through museum to only walk several blocks to the bus and have it stall right outside of the city. Leaking oil it seems and we wasted some time and was rushed through the catacombs since we showed up after closing time. Thankful we still got in but definitely wasn't as thrilling. Still a good tour that is knowledgeable to start off your Italy trip. Don't save it for the end of the trip, everything else might overshadow it.
