- Children(under 18) tickets are free and could need to pick up from the inside desk while entering the Colosseum.
- Colosseum has a separate ticket office to buy the tickets, in this experience you can directly go to the entrance with avoiding ticketing line-
- There is some waiting expected on busy days for security/ticket checking.

Amazing historic place!
Buying the tickets in advance saved us a lot of time and the audio guides provided were very informative!
Sadly, this experience was painfully awful.

The recorded guided tour was no more helpful or informative than reading Wikipedia as you walked through on your own. One person in my party was hospitalized and unable to make it and we were not allowed to substitute my husband at the gate. No substitutions allowed. Not clear at time of purchase. Once in the Colosseum, it was pure chaos and pandemonium. No sense of any order and too many swarming bodies. People were walking back and forth, in then out then in again, against the flow of traffic with families and tour groups and individuals all jockeying for a spot to take a photo. Much of the structure is blocked off and signs are not helpful for traffic flow. I can’t say enough about how terrible this experience was. I will recommend to everyone to forego this “tour” experience.

This process worked very well for us with just a couple little suggestions to make it go even smoother and get a 5 star review. I don’t get the voucher from the company until the day before our tour. I don’t know if this is normal timing but I was getting a little anxious and reached out to them myself. They did reply and sent me the voucher right away. The only other issue we had was that when we picked up the children’s tickets they questioned the age of my older teens. They were under 18 but I didn’t bring their passports to prove it. My suggestion is that if you have older teens 13-17 bring some sort of ID for them. The ticket agent eventually gave me the tickets but there were a few minutes of going back and forth. We enjoyed listening to our own tour so the skip the line tickets were perfect for us. Rick Steves feee audio guide for the win!!

Easy and quick access into the colosseum. The tickets came via email with instructions on where to redeem as well as a map of the facility.
