Wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome. He was happy to answer any questions we had and did not rush us with all the photos we took. Fantastic tour would 100% recommend to do this small group tour of the Colosseum Underground & Roman Forum.
Dont Make The Same Mistake

Our guide was excellent and well informed. Had a major issue that was largely my fault. As my son and I have the same name i was not able to use it and opted for our knicknames instead. We were refused entry and had to leave the tour and purchase new tickets. Fortunately we were able to find the group and continue with the second half of the tour. The tour group refused to refund any monies.

On October 19, 2024 we had the absolute pleasure of joining our tour guide, Azzurra, for a small group tour of the Colosseum Underground, as well as the arena and upper levels. Besides having one of the most affable personalities, Azzurra possessed an art history degree and advanced degrees related to Roman artifacts and history. She was a wealth of information for our group which she delivered in the most clear and understandable manner. However, the volume of information she shared had us stopping at a book shop after the tour to gather additional sources because our interest was so stimulated. Absolutely one of the most professional and valuable tours we have ever had!

What a fun and educational tour of the Colosseum and Forum! It's been many years since we toured the Colosseum and boy have things changed! Lines are huge! And the underground tour of the Colosseum helps the experience to life better than ever. Azzurra, our tour guide was entertaining & knowledgeable. Our 3 hours with her went by in a flash. Highly recommended.

This tour was one of my favorite parts of Rome. Being able to see the original stonework underground, all of the highlights of the above ground, and then the Roman Forum - it was amazing.
Our guide, Gianluca, was fantastic! He had a great manner and made the tour a lot of fun.
One thing I will note: there are 6 or so flights of steep stairs. They are not all in a row and everyone in our group was able to do them. However, if you have any issues that make stairs difficult, this may not be a good tour for you.
