This was a terrific day trip! Chiara, our guide, did a great job throughout the day, giving lots of good information, as well as tips for what to eat when in Rome; and Julio, our bus driver, expertly took us to our stops, and back home, safely!

Great Day Trip to Tuscany

My husband and I took this day trip to Tuscany during our week in Rome. The tour takes you on a large coach bus with about 40 other people, we stopped at two local towns and the winery. Montepulciano and Pienza were adorable and picturesque towns, which we loved enjoying during free time. In Montepulciano our local tour guide Francesca was incredible, so kind and welcoming to her home community. The wine tasting overall was good, however they could do a better job of pairing the food and wine service together. Our driver Sergio kept us safe. Lastly, the full tour guide, Laura, was incredible. She was kind, supportive, fun, and informative and did a great job managing a large group of people from many different backgrounds. If you want to visit Tuscany but don't have time for an overnight stay, this is highly recommended.
