Description

Split up the trip and do it on a fast train so you have more time to actually see the cities.

We were dropped off in Pisa and given 1 hour to take a quick picture and maybe see the inside of the cathedral. The guide walked very fast and wouldn’t slow down for the more elderly. Then once more we were dropped off in Florence for 3 hours by the time we got the tickets and saw the basilica that took up an hour. We wanted to see the statue of David so we had to walk to get to the museum which took 45 minutes and found out the line to buy tickets to get into the museum was an hour and a half wait. So we had to forget that in order to get back to the meeting point in time before we had to leave. Once again the guide took off at a very fast pace and never looked back to see if everyone was able to keep up. I practically had to drag my poor wife in order to still be able to see him up ahead. Over 1/2 the day was just riding the bus there and back.
Beautiful!!

Love the trip, we got enough time in each place and was able to see places I thought I was not going to have enough time to see. The guides was knowledgeable and friendly.

Terrible Tour operator. The guidance they give for meeting points is totally contradictory and the staff that work there as leaders and operatives are extremely rude and have very little people skills. When challenged on issues that they have made they lied about situations. Following issues with this company I have decided to stop using Viator as it was utterly shambolic from start to finish. The treatment of customer has been horrific.
Great Experience

Roberto was an amazing tour guide. It’s a long drive but so worth it and appreciated Roberto for giving us details before arriving at each destination . Had an amazing experience. Highly recommend getting on the golf cart excursion as soon as you get to Florence, you’ll see wayyy more this way.
Lean into this tour!

Pisa was AMAZING and Florence was a beautiful city. Our guide, Mary Jo, did double duty speaking in both Spanish and English, and she was kind and friendly. We wish the tour would have been more guided as we had many questions about buildings and statues as we explored the towns on our own. We were thrilled to see the Leaning Tower.
