- IMPORTANT INFORMATION REQUIRED FROM ALL PASSENGERS: You MUST provide all passenger names at the time of booking in order to visit Mount Vesuvius or you may be refused entry.
- During summer months in rare cases of inclement weather or strikes, the crater of Vesuvius may be closed to visitors, therefore, if this is the case, it is replaced with a visit to Positano where you will get free time to explore the city.
- From early November to March the Vesuvius isn't accessible and it is replaced with a visit to Positano where you will get free time to explore the city. Please notice that the Lunch stop will not be included when going to Positano.
- Option to upgrade to Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Positano Small-Group Day Trip from Rome with private coach (Mt Vesuvius or Naples not included)
- Please be advised that in the case of events beyond our control, we may need to adjust our itinerary to ensure the safety, quality, and satisfaction of your travel experience.
- While our day trips are typically of a fixed duration, external factors may occasionally extend tour times slightly. We appreciate your understanding and planning as we strive to provide you with the best possible experience.
- The hike up to the crater of Vesuvius requires a good level of general fitness. The walk is uphill at a 14 degree angle and takes roughly 20 minutes.

Enrika was a fantastic guide. Very funny and very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Great information and stories on the bus rides. I didn’t rate the recommend pizza though.

Angela, our tour guide, was the best! She was very knowledgeable and made the bus ride interesting! However, the tour guide in Pompeii was a little pompous and seemed bored. He was giving other tourists a hard time. He actually told an Australian tourist that he would like to see him jump off a wall like a kangaroo! Overall, a great tour though and I would recommend it.

Excellent tour! Pompeii was amazing and Jon, our guide for the day was extremely informative and entertaining. He answered questions all day and provided backgrounds and historical information throughout the day. Very impressed with the quality of the day!

We had an outstanding day touring Pompei and Mount Vesuvius. Jonathon, our guide, met us in Rome and our trip was well organized from the get go. He provided an interesting history of the area we were visiting and timed breaks well. The Pompei guide, William, also did a great job. I will do this tour again when I come back to Rome.
