Both my husband had been to both Hadrians Villa & Villa D’Este over 40 years ago and always wanted to back. It did not disappoint. The guide was knowledgeable and polite. The gem was when one the main fountains started to play classical music engineered hundred of yers ago. Truly spectacular!

The contrast between the ruins of Hadrian's Villa and the Renaissance Villa of D'Este was incredible. We chose the tour with the lunch; in retrospect, I would have done it without the lunch and just done lunch on our own. I would have liked more time in Hadrian's Villa and time to explore Tivoli and would seriously consider staying in the area the next time we are in Italy. Would highly recommend this tour.
