LIMITED MOBILITY Ancient Rome area and Vatican Museums visits involve SIGNIFICANT WALKING. The Roman Forum and Palatine surfaces are uneven, but a considerable portion of the area has wheelchair paths. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to St Peter’s Basilica has 50 steps downwards and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour can continue to the Basilica only if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs, but, for safety reasons, it is not possible to carry wheelchairs and walkers down the stairs. If your private group includes participants with reduced mobility, we can still bring you to the Basilica, going back to the Museum's entrance and reaching it from the outside with the car. Although there is a dedicated pathway for wheelchairs, please be aware that there may be a queue to enter the Basilica. Also, note that other participants in your group will have to take charge of pushing the wheelchair.
VATICAN IS CLOSED ON SUNDAYS (and religious holidays). Due to the Wow Tour's high request, we designed a Sunday experience when the Vatican is closed. With your guide, and your driver you will explore St. Peter's Square, Castel Sant' Angelo area and other marvelous sites like the Aventine hill; from its top, you enjoy spectacular views over the city. As an alternative we will prospose other museums or arcaeological sites!

STROLLERS: We suggest avoiding strollers and using a baby sling instead. Like wheelchairs and walkers, strollers are not allowed in the passage from the Sistine Chape directly to the Basilica ( 50 steps downward ). Your private tour will end without the Basilica visit. Our tour started by being met at the cruise port by a professionally dressed Andrew (Alex), he safely and quickly drove us in a nice clean vehicle to and from Rome where we met our guide Eddy. Eddy was fantastic! So knowledgeable and a great personality. We so enjoyed him…and we will have such fond memories of him. If you are looking for a great tour if Rome, this is the company to pick. They communicate well (we could not see the Vatican due to our Sunday visit…so they arranged s different venue for our tour), and we never had a worry about the plans. Highly recommend this tour company!

Elizabetta saved our trip to Rome. We found out on 6:00 p.m. on Sunday that our 9:00 a.m. Monday full day Rome city tour (including timed Vatican and colosseum entry tickets) was cancelled. I threw a Hail Mary and booked her tour through Viator. I had little hope that it would actually happen due to it being so last minute and the tickets to these attractions were all sold out. I will never know how she found an EXCELLENT driver, guide and perfectly timed admission tickets but she did. She contacted me by phone Sunday evening to let me know she would do everything possible to make our tour happen and if we were flexible with timing she believed she could pull it off. Thanks to her we were able to enjoy our special dinner we had planned that evening without the stress of how the next day would play out. Everything about this tour was fantastic. She skimped on nothing for our last minute booking and we saw and learned things we never would have without an expert guide and highly efficient driver. Our family will forever be grateful for the exhaustive work she must have put in to make this happen. If you are on the fence please book this tour. You are in good hands and will be very well taken care of. Thank you Elizabetta and our guide Andrea for making our time in Rome one we will never forget!
Excellent Tour

The WOW Tour is perfectly named. It was incredible. Our tour guide was Francesca and our driver was Remo. Both were terrific. Our tour became a modified walking tour due to a marathon with numerous road closures, but Francesca adjusted the schedule perfectly and in real time. She navigated through unexpected detours with precision, all the while offering knowledgeable commentary on the sites and landmarks, the architectural details and history. She was personable and entertaining, and honestly, quite amazing. We saw everything we'd hoped for and more, because she was able to locate most of the places where my father's photographs were taken in 1944. I very highly recommend this tour!
Fantastic tour

This tour was incredible! Our tour guide, Francesca, was amazing; knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. Our tour became a modified walking tour due to a marathon in Rome with numerous road closures, but Francesca adjusted the schedule perfectly, actually showing us more of the landmarks and architecture in Rome. I very highly recommend this tour!
